CHARLES ROBINSON: So we all know Von Miller and Odell Beckham Jr. tight. They're boys, right? Like, been boys their entire career. When they were playing in different cities, they always talked about playing together. Their families are tight. All this stuff, right?

Odell Beckham Jr. and Von Miller ending up with the Rams together last year was very much by design between those two individuals, right? And the thought process was always-- and I believe this. Well, Odell's gonna end up with the Rams. Of course. As soon as he's back, he's gonna end up with the Rams. Once we get into November and it really ramps up, this is the team he's gonna end up with.

But there was always that caveat. That well, let's see what the Rams look like and Von-- it's not like Von is not going to try to recruit this dude. It's not like Von's not gonna sit there and say, look at Buffalo, look at our quarterback, look at our situation.

Hey, man. It's a short season just like last year. Come here, be the merc. Blow it up, you know, and then do what we were gonna do last year which was, I went out and got the big deal. You were supposed to go out and do the big deal. Now you get your opportunity. Von's kind of coming out now and he's chirping a little bit.

He's saying, hey, I think I know, and I'm paraphrasing. But he said, I think I know where he's going. And I think he would fit well with our team. If anyone listens to that and doesn't think that Von Miller is not in Odell's ear every day going, boss. Our team is the [BLEEP]. We are gonna be a 14 win team. You come and play here, you gonna get another ring.

Like, this is the spot for you. Let's do it, let's run it back. Just you and me, let's show everybody. That's what's happening right now. So people have to be prepared for that with Odell Beckham Jr. And the longer this goes, the more likely it is he ends up maybe with the Buffalo Bills.

CHARLES MCDONALD: Yeah. And I think if you're Odell Beckham, and you just-- the last time you played football, it was a great win, Super Bowl, but you just tore your ACL at the same time. Is this a situation that you want to step into, where they're like, OK, the first time I'm playing football in months is a team that really, really needs me to perform right away?

I think maybe with the Bills, you have a chance to kind of ease back into being a full-time NFL player.

CHARLES ROBINSON: Finesse it.

CHARLES MCDONALD: Besides-- right, right. And I also think when you look back, just another point about the Rams offense and Odell's fit with him. Because clearly they need him. Like, I think they need another guy who can really take the top off of defense. And that's-- when you look back at the Sean McVay Rams, the best versions of their offense have had a guy that can go deep, you know. Sammy Watkins when he first got there--

CHARLES ROBINSON: Robert Woods.

CHARLES MCDONALD: Robert Woods, Brandin Cooks, they had Deshaun Jackson for a little bit. And when DeSean Jackson was on the Rams, like, that Stafford-Jackson connection was really cooking. It's just a slow offense right now. And I don't know if Sean McVay has kind of realized, I need one guy. Just one guy who can burn off the top and we'll have Cooper Kupp hitting that-- sitting that intermediate area. And I also have a quarterback who can hit that spot, if I need to at times. It's just-- it's really slow, it's really compressed.

And I think if I'm Odell, I'd probably go play with Josh Allen and the Bills right now. I don't have to be this guy that gets leaned upon for a huge amount of offense, because they got Stefon Diggs and Allen can take care of a lot by himself. And I'll get to play with my best friend and ease back into the lineup. It seems like a really obvious choice to me. Unless he just doesn't want to be cold, which I respect and understand.

CHARLES ROBINSON: It's definitely becoming the more obvious choice. Yeah, there's no-- I'm with you. Like, this is exactly what the Rams, I think, you didn't want to happen. Where things are struggling, something doesn't look right, things are going great. And then Von is sitting out there going, hey, man. This is all good here. Like, come, we're gonna win the Super Bowl.
