The Rush: Super Bowl Champion Chiefs unveil new banner, stand in unity, and dominate Texans
The NFL regular season is upon us as the Kansas City Chiefs unveiled their new Super Bowl banner, stood in a moment of unity with the Houston Texans, and won their season opener over the Texans in front of 16,000 fans at Arrowhead Stadium. Over on the hardwood, the Houston Rockets were without Danuel House Jr., who is under investigation for inviting a female COVID-19 testing official back to his hotel room. But that probably wouldn’t have made much of a difference in their 110-100 Game 4 loss and 3-1 series deficit to the Los Angeles Lakers. Looking ahead, the NBA announced next season won’t be starting any time before Christmas.
