KEVIN IOLE: Hey, everybody. Kevin Iole here at sold-out T-Mobile arena. UFC 276 just ended moments ago. Israel Adesanya retains his UFC middleweight championship. One-sided decision. Not a very exciting fight over Jared Cannonier.

Cannonier did not let his hands go, so Adesanya, counter striker, didn't throw a lot either. It was a really highly technical fight. The fans were bored and booing, and they held their flashlights up. Adesanya actually was beat up and closed as a -525 favorite at Bet MGM, so the fans cashed on that one who bet on the champion. Cannonier went off at +395, and honestly, if you bet on him, you got to be upset because he was really never in the fight.

In the co-main event, Alex Volkanovski retains his Featherweight Championship. He was absolutely brilliant. He closed at -195. He swept all five rounds from Max Holloway. Holloway was never in the fight.

Their first two fights were very close. Holloway even thought he won the second fight. A lot of people thought he won the second fight, but this was no contest.

Alex Volkanovski clearly the best featherweight in the world. And going back to Adesanya. He is going to fight Alex Tejeda in his next fight. Tejeda, who beat him twice in kickboxing, came out and knocked out Sean Strickland with a big left hook. He added to right hands as Strickland was going down.

Tejeda was a 110 underdog, plus 110 underdog. Strickland went off his -$1.30 favorite at beat MGM, but he didn't last long. It was less than a minute-- it was less than a minute fight, and that was it. It was Alex Tejeda setting up that fight where he is now going to go ahead and fight Israel Adesanya in the next fight. From T-Mobile arena, I am Kevin Iole for Yahoo Sports.
