Video: UFC 266 cold open released featuring the return of Nick Diaz

One more sleep separates American UFC fans from UFC 266, but UFC president Dana White is doing all he can to increase the fight week hype levels.

Friday, White released the pay-per-view’s cold open video, which features the long-awaited return of Nick Diaz (26-9 MMA, 7-6 UFC) and a championship doubleheader.

The video, with actor and regular UFC voiceover narrator Ron Perlman, features promotion for Diaz’s rematch against Robbie Lawler (28-15 MMA, 13-9 UFC), the featherweight headliner between reigning champion Alexander Volkanovski (22-1 MMA, 9-0 UFC) and Brian Ortega (15-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC), and the co-main event between dominant champion Valentina Shevchenko (21-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC) and streaking challenger Lauren Murphy (15-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC).

UFC 266 takes place Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPNews and early prelims on ESPN+.
