Video: Paige VanZant grabs Britain Hart’s throat, gets cussed out during BKFC faceoff
Paige VanZant and Britain Hart turned up the heat Thursday ahead of their main event clash at Bare Knuckle FC’s “KnuckleMania.”
After making weight for their bout, VanZant and Hart came face to face for a traditional final pre-fight staredown. That’s when things quickly went off the rails.
Hart closed in on VanZant’s personal space, and VanZant responded by grabbing the throat of her opponent and pushing her away. Hart didn’t take kindly to that, and she went after VanZant, but was restrained.

Hart then started to cuss out VanZant for her actions and reminded her that choking isn’t legal when they step in the ring for their bare-knuckle boxing match, which takes place Friday at Bert’s Barracuda Harley-Davidson in Clearwater, Fla., and streams via online pay-per-view.
