VIDEO: Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes finds Justyn Ross for touchdown at Monday practice

The Justyn Ross hype train gained even more steam on Monday after quarterback Patrick Mahomes found the second-year receiver for a touchdown during the team’s rainy practice session.

The good folks at Kansas City Sports Network got the best footage of the play, which they posted to Twitter shortly before workouts concluded.

Ross’ natural abilities and growing chemistry with Mahomes have made him the preeminent player to watch in Kansas City’s preseason games and will make him a tough out on the Chiefs’ depth chart at receiver.

His rise to dominance at training camp has been a welcome sign for fans who beat the drum for Ross in the offseason after he missed Kansas City’s 2022 campaign due to an injury he sustained in college at Clemson.

Now back to full health, Ross has made a great first impression on his coaches and observers around the league, and his participation in the Chiefs’ upcoming exhibition games will provide plenty more fodder for talk about his potential in Kansas City’s high-octane offense.
