Vanderbilt football kickoff time, TV info announced vs. Ole Miss in Week 9

Vanderbilt football will face Ole Miss at 6:30 p.m. CT at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Oct. 28 and will be televised on SEC Network.

This is the first night kickoff for the Commodores during SEC play this season. Vanderbilt did have two night non-conference games against Hawaii and Alabama A&M, both of which were at home. All but one of the Commodores' conference games this season have been on SEC Network.

Vanderbilt (2-6, 0-4 SEC) does not have a game this week in its first of two open weeks of the season. Ole Miss will face Auburn on the road. In their most recent contests, the Commodores lost, 37-20, to Georgia on Oct. 14 while the Rebels were idle. Ole Miss (5-1, 2-1) beat Arkansas, 27-20, on Oct. 7.

Vanderbilt last beat Ole Miss in 2018, winning, 36-29 in a home matchup. The last road win over the Rebels was in 2012. The Commodores are 40-55-2 against Ole Miss all time.
