Vanderbilt football flips three-star ATH Savion Riley from Duke
Three-star athlete Savion Riley announced his commitment to Vanderbilt football on Monday evening.
Riley, from Acworth, Georgia, was committed to Duke but decommitted on Sunday shortly after taking his official visit to Vanderbilt last weekend. He also had offers from Wake Forest and Maryland.
Mostly a receiver in high school, he was recruited by defensive backs coach LaMar Morgan and defensive coordinator Jesse Minter to the Commodores, indicating he'd be used on the defensive side.

Clark Lea's first full recruiting class with Vanderbilt is deep, with 23 commits. However, the Commodores are still the only team in the SEC that doesn't have a recruit rated four stars or higher.
Riley makes the third athlete committed to Vanderbilt for 2022, with Trudell Berry and KD Hutchinson the others.
Quarterback commit AJ Swann expressed his excitement for Riley's commitment on Twitter.
What’d I tell y’all about those 110% commits?
