What UNC football head coach Mack Brown said after Week 0 win
The UNC football program is 1-0 to open the season after a Week 0 win over Florida A&M on Saturday night. While UNC got off to a sluggish start, they were able to turn it on in the second half and pull away from the Rattlers.
Backed by the play of redshirt freshman Drake Maye, the Tar Heels offense was clicking as they put up 56 points in the game. They even got aggressive, going for it on fourth and goal at a key point in the game.
It was refreshing to say the least.
Now, there is some work to be done before the team takes on Appalachian State in a big road game this week but for now, the team can still celebrate the win before getting back to work.
