Tyreek Hill says he’d put up 175 yards vs. Deion Sanders in his prime
Tyreek Hill has been uncoverable for most NFL defensive backs for close to a decade. That was on full display in 2023 when the Miami Dolphins wide receiver led the league in receiving yards with 1,799 and touchdown receptions with 13.
He doesn’t think arguably the best cornerback in NFL history would stand much of a chance at defending him either. When asked on a podcast if he’d be able to record 100 yards against Deion Sanders in his prime, Hill upped the ante.
“I’m putting 175 on Deion, easy,” Hill told the hosts of the MILLION $ WORTH OF GAME podcast. “Prime was the GOAT, though. But you gotta understand, though, they played a lot of man-to-man back in the day. I feel like generations have changed and receivers have changed.”

While Sanders played in an era that included Hall of Fame receivers like Jerry Rice, Michael Irvin, Cris Carter, Tim Brown, and Andre Reed, Hill says he presents different challenges.
“I’m 5’9, 197. I’m quicker. I’m more agile. I can move a whole lot quicker towards a guy. I can catch screens. So it’s a whole lot that goes into a game,” Hill said.
Sanders was an eight-time Pro Bowler and six-time All-Pro during a career that earned him a spot in the Hall of Fame. Evidently, those credentials don’t intimidate Hill.
“Oh and two [touchdowns], don’t forget about that,” Hill added as the cherry on top.
