Two Ohio State players named to PFWA’s NFL All-Rookie Team

The Ohio State Buckeyes have built a strong pipeline to the NFL as most people know and their reputation as Wide Reciever University is growing stronger and stronger. The most recent proof of Ohio State’s dominance as WRU comes in the form of Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson being named to the Pro Football Writers of America’s All-Rookie team.

Chris Olave was drafted by the New Orleans Saints with the 11th pick in the most recent NFL Draft and immediately jumped on the scene in week one with three receptions for 41 yards in the New Orleans victory over the Atlanta Falcons and never looked back.

Garrett Wilson was actually named the Pro Football Writers of America’s Offensive Rookie of the Year after being selected by the New York Jets with the tenth overall selection and his big splash introduction occurred in week two against the Cleveland Browns when he recorded eight receptions for 102 yards and his first two career touchdowns.

It’s just more recognition and love for some of the former Ohio State players that have continued to make a name for themselves and the program in the NFL.
