Twitter reacts to Texans WR Keke Coutee’s game-losing fumble against the Colts

The Houston Texans lost another heartbreaker to the Indianapolis Colts Sunday afternoon with a 27-20 loss at Lucas Oil Stadium.

For the first time since 2017, the Texans will endure a double-digit loss season and have two of those defeats came at the hands of the Colts.

Just like the Week 13 encounter at NRG Stadium, the Texans offense had a mishap at the 2-yard line. Instead of center Nick Martin botching the snap on a second-and-goal, receiver Keke Coutee caught a pass and was slated to cross the goal line, though he would have to bowl through a couple Colts defenders.

Linebacker Darius Leonard ripped the ball away, and the Colts recovered in the end zone for a touchback.

Spectators took to Twitter to convey their shock at yet another Texans-Colts game coming down to a wild finish.

“That explains the #Texans season,” wrote NFL on Texans

Yellow Boiii provided a GIF of one man slapping another upside the head, claiming that is what quarterback Deshaun Watson would do if he saw Coutee in the locker room.

Another Twitter use captured the perfect screenshot to summarize Houston’s 2020 season.

Coutee’s fumble cost Michael Dean some money in a 4-way parlay.

Coach Twitter was ready to cut Coutee after the game.

Some would say the play epitomized Houston’s season.

The Texans fall to 4-10 on the season and get ready to play the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 16 for their penultimate home game at NRG Stadium.
