Twitter reacts to NBA suspending Warriors’ Draymond Green indefinitely

For the third time through 23 games, Draymond Green was ejected on Tuesday night in a contest against the Phoenix Suns.

In the third quarter, Green struck Suns center Jusuf Nurkic in the head while trying to battle for position on an inbound pass along the sideline. Green was quickly assessed a flagrant two foul and ejected from the game.

Following the Warriors’ loss to the Suns on Tuesday, which was headlined by Green’s ejection, the NBA announced the former Defensive Player of the Year would be suspended indefinitely. Green has already been suspended once this season for five games after an incident against the Minnesota Timberwolves where he choked center Rudy Gobert. Green was also ejected earlier in Nov. after an altercation with Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell. The Warriors went on to lose each game Green was ejected from.

His latest suspension will be Green’s sixth suspension of his 11-year career. He is the NBA’s active leader in ejections with 19, and second to only Rasheed Wallace all time.

Following the league’s decision to suspend Green indefinitely, the NBA community on Twitter exploded with reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on social media.
