Khamzat Chimaev’s anticipated return to the octagon went down Saturday at UFC 267 and he came out with a victory over Li Jingliang.
After more than a year away from the octagon due to health issues, Chimaev (10-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) showed he’s still worthy of the hype when he defeated Jingliang (18-7 MMA, 10-5 UFC) by first-round technical submission in the welterweight fight, which took place at Etihad Arena on “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi.
