Twitter reacts to Chad Baker-Mazara commiting to Auburn

Auburn Basketball got some great news late Thursday night when JUCO wing Chad Baker-Mazara announced his commitment to the Tigers.

The 6-foot-7, 190-pounder spent last season at Northwest Florida State College where he averaged 15.2 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. He shot 46.9% from 3-point range and 83.5% from the free-throw line.

Auburn will be his fourth school in four seasons. He spent his freshman season at Duquesne before transferring to San Diego State for his sophomore season. He was named the Mountain West Sixth Man of the Year but the Aztecs dismissed him due to academics. Baker-Mazara then wound up at Northwest Florida.

Regardless of where he has been playing, he has shown the ability to score, especially from deep. He is a career 44% shooter (114-259) from beyond the arc and has made 84.8% of his free throws, an area Auburn has struggled at recently.

It’s safe to say that the addition fired up the Auburn fans who took to Twitter to celebrate, here are the top reactions.
