Twitter reactions: Dallas Cowboys select Mazi Smith
Michigan football had a couple of potential first-round selections for this year’s NFL Draft.
Mazi Smith was looked at as a late first-round pick or an early second-rounder. After the Dallas Cowboys decided to select Smith with the No. 26 pick in the first round, the Cowboys obviously believed he was a first-round talent, too.
With the selection of Smith in the first round, that made five-straight drafts with a Michigan player going in the first round.
Smith didn’t get many sacks at Michigan but he’s one of the best run stuffers in the game. With Dallas playing against the Eagles and other running attacks, Smith will really shore up the middle for the ‘Boys.
