Here are Tuesday's high school sports results for the Appleton area

BASEBALL

Hortonville 11, Oshkosh West 0

HORTONVILLE - The Polar Bears had three big innings en route to the Fox Valley Association victory.

Hortonville scored four times in the first, two in the second and five in the fourth.

Zander Locy was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI, while Bo Anderson doubled and drove in three runs. Turner Kuhnke also had two hits for the Polar Bears.

Taiven Gass was dominant on the mound, earning the five-inning win, allowing just one hit while striking out six.

The win moves Hortonville to 11-6 in the FVA and 12-9 overall, while West falls to 1-16 and 3-18.

Neenah 8, Appleton North 4

NEENAH - The Rockets improved to 12-5 in the Fox Valley Association with the win over the Lightning.

AJ Price, Ethan Van Dyke, Payton Miller and Will St. Clair each had two hits for Neenah. St. Clair had a triple.

Kimberly 9, Oshkosh North 0

OSHKOSH - The Papermakers broke open the game with the Spartans with a seven-run fifth inning.

With the win, the Papermakers improve to 15-2 in the Fox Valley Association and clinched the conference title.

Brady Koester and Tanner Hart combined to two-hit Oshkosh North. Koester pitched five innings, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out eight. Hart pitched two innings, allowing one hit and striking out two.

Ayden Tomlinson had two hits for Kimberly, while Ben Johnston drove in two runs and Hudson Wagner and Carson Medden both scored twice.

Colton Angell took the loss for Oshkosh North.

St. Mary Catholic 8, Plymouth 3

FOX CROSSING - A two-run third and four-run fourth proved to be the difference as the Zephyrs topped the Panthers in nonconference action.

Joseph Pirillo had three hits, including a double, while Colin Nigel was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Also powering the SMC attack were Fisher Mackenzie, who was 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored, while Jacob Ernsting had two RBI.

Ethan Plutz allowed five hits, two earned runs and four walks in three innings, while Grant Brazzale pitched the final four innings, allowing four hits, one unearned run and one walk while striking out one.

SOFTBALL

Division 1

Neenah 10, Fond du Lac 0

NEENAH - The Rockets, who led 1-0 after three innings, scored six runs in the fourth and three in the fifth to defeat the Cardinals in five innings.

Neenah will play Ashwaubenon in a regional final Thursday.

West Bend East 6, Menasha 4

MENASHA - The Suns scored two runs in the eighth inning to defeat the Bluejays.

The Bluejays put the game into extra innings when they scored a run in their half of the seventh to tie the game 4-4.

Karly Helf had three hits, including two doubles, for Menasha. Taylor Papendorf had two hits. Hannah Neubert had two hits, including a home run. She also drove in two runs. Addie Lund had a double.

Sam Shuey took the loss for Menasha. She pitched the final three innings in relief of Teagan Massey-Plamann.

Ali Hooper pitched a complete game for West Bend East to get the win.

Division 3

Mishicot 10, Brillion 0

MISHICOT - Mishicot scored eight runs in the first inning and two in the second en route to the regional win.

Kiran Sanford picked up the win in the circle, pitching all five innings and allowing just two hits while striking out 13.

Cora Nelson and Sanford had two hits each to pace Mishicot.

Malia Piepenberg and Kennadie Ott had the Lions’ hits.

Kewaunee 9, Chilton 4

CHILTON - The Storm scored eight runs in the third inning and went on to defeat the Tigers.

Kewaunee will play at top-seeded Mishicot on Thursday.

Division 4

St. Mary Catholic 13, Sheboygan Lutheran 3

FOX CROSSING - The Zephyrs pounded out 17 hits in the five-inning win over the Crusaders.

St. Mary Catholic scored three runs in the first inning on a home run by Nevaeh Saringer and added four runs in the second inning to break the game open.

Saringer finished with four hits, a home run and four RBI. Emily Vogel had four hits with three doubles, three RBI and four runs scored. Ainslie Liddy had three hits and scored two runs. Adel Schneider had two hits, including a double, and scored twice. Rhiannon Reichenbacher had a double and two RBI.

Saringer allowed three runs on five hits while striking out three to get the win.

St. Mary Catholic will play at Random Lake on Thursday for the regional title.

GIRLS SOCCER

Kewaskum 1, Winneconne 1

WINNECONNE - Addison Verkuilen scored off an assist from Callee Fink to give the Wolves the lead early in the second half, but Kewaskum rallied for the draw.

Annika Kreuser scored for Kewaskum with Caitlin Finger credited with the assist.

Cedar Grove-Belgium 10, St. Mary Catholic 0

CEDAR GROVE - The Rockets scored eight goals in the first half of their win over the Zephyrs.

Cora Erickson had four goals and two assists for Cedar Grove-Belgium. Arden Getschman had two goals with Kami Horn, Alivia Szyszkiewicz, Grace Konzak and Gracie Schmidt getting the other goals.

Konzak and Getschman had two assists with Aubrey Marti, Horn and Hailey Prom each getting one assist.
