Tullahoma's Lily Melton voted Nashville area high school basketball girls athlete of week

Tullahoma's Lily Melton was voted as the Nashville area high school girls basketball athlete of the week for the second time in a row.

Melton received 28,193 votes for 38% of the 74,316 total. She averaged 20 points and 7.5 rebounds in two wins. She had 19 points, 10 rebounds and three assists in a 47-34 win over Central Magnet. She added 21 points and five rebounds in a 52-37 win over Franklin County.

Centennial's Addison Gorday came in second with 17,798 votes for 24% of the total. She scored 19 points in a 46-41 win over Summit and added 14 points in a 45-29 loss to Nolensville.

Ravenwood's Emma Rayl was third with 15,679 votes for 21% of the total. She scored 30 points with four 3-pointers in a 60-47 win over Summit.
