Travis the TD-maker: Jaguars Etienne gets into the end zone twice in the first half vs. Saints

It took Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne until the seventh game of the season last year to score his first NFL touchdown.

He's rolling 7s now -- seven TDs in seven games.

Etienne scored the Jaguars' first two touchdowns on Thursday against the New Orleans Saints at the Caesars Superdome, on runs of 2 and 17 yards to give the Jags an early 14-3 lead. Etienne becomes the first player in Jaguars history to score multiple touchdowns in three consecutive games and he's the first in the NFL to do it this season.

Etienne was kept out of the end zone last year for the first six games until he scored his first against the New York Giants. He then scored four in three games but finished with five for the season.

Etienne has two touchdowns in each of the last three games and when he dashed in for his second score, he tied San Francisco's Christian McCaffrey for second in the NFL in rushing touchdowns, two behind Miami's Raheem Mostert.

Considering the Jags' history of running backs -- Fred Taylor, Maurice Jones-Drew, Leonard Fournette -- Etienne has accomplished a nice little feat. Taylor and Jones-Drew had multiple TDs in two consecutive games.

Etienne had two scores last week in a 37-20 victory over Indianapolis in Jacksonville, and two the previous week in a 25-20 victory over Buffalo, in London.
