Trade official between Steelers and Rams after Allen Robinson passes physical

According to ESPN reporter Dianna Russini, the trade between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Los Angeles Rams is official now that wide receiver Allen Robinson passed his physical on Wednesday.

The terms of the trade were fairly simple. The Steelers and Rams swapped seventh-round picks and the Rams agreed to pick up half of Robinson’s $10 million cap number for 2023. The move gave the Rams some much-needed salary cap relief and it gave the Steelers a viable No. 3 wide receiver for nothing more than a move down in the last round of the 2023 NFL draft.

The next steps are to get Robinson working with this group of offensive skill-position players where he will be the veteran presence.
