Top three NFL draft-eligible inside linebackers in the Big Ten for 2022

It is never too early to talk about the NFL Draft, and one of the most polarizing and fun positions to discuss is the inside linebacker position. It is no secret that Ohio State does not have the strongest linebacking group, but there is still some high-end talent in the Big Ten.

It should not be surprising to see an Iowa linebacker on this list as they have an extremely rich history of stud linebackers like Christian Kirksey, Pat Angerer, and Abdul Hodge. We also see an appearance from a Nebraska linebacker and Minnesota, but enough of talking about the list, let’s dive in.

Jack Campbell, Iowa, 6- foot, 5-inches, 243 pounds

Jack Campbell is a box score monster as evidenced by his insane 143 tackles last season. Campbell is an elite downhill run stopper, but he does everything at a high level and few would argue against him being the best linebacker in the Big Ten.

Luke Reimer, Nebraska - 6-foot, 1-inches, 225-pounds

Luke Reimer is the leader of a very strong Nebraska linebacking group and will look to improve on his already impressive tackle total of 108 from last season to go along with his three forced fumbles.

Mariano Sori-Marin, Minnesota - 6-foot, 3-inches, 245-pounds

Mariano Sori-Marin is the new leader of this Minnesota linebacking group, but his career has been up and down. After a big 2021 season which saw him accumulate 85 tackles, the sky is the limit for Sori-Marin. He looks like an NFL linebacker with the size to play right now.
