The top returning Vermont high school girls lacrosse players? Here's our 2024 watchlist.

After conversations, texts and email messages with coaches and media colleagues throughout Vermont, here is our annual list of some of the state's top returning high school girls lacrosse players.

The lacrosse regular season concludes by June 1. Playoffs open June 4 and 5 with first-round contests, with the title games tentatively slated for June 14 and 15 at sites to be announced (weather, graduation dates play factor in determining final dates/times).

► 2023 season: Collected 123 stops for a 49% save percentage to land on second team for D-II coaches.

► 2023 season: Produced a 72-goal, 21-assist junior season to land on the D-I coaches' first team.

STELLA DOOLEY

► School: Champlain Valley

► Class year: Senior

► Position: Midfield

► 2023 season: A first-team selection for D-I coaches, Dooley racked up 47 goas, 12 assists, 78 draw controls and 60 ground balls for the state runner-up.
