Sheldon is part of the Southwest Conference and is one of 44 teams that competes in the Oregon High School Lacrosse Association.
"It sets the tone in a big way," head coach Don Lindsey said of the win. "(South Eugene) is the second-best team in the league. They are very well coached, and they have a high skill set. We knew this team was going to give us the best fight, so we had to really prepare for them."
