Tom Brady, Zach Wilson share birthday, crazy age difference

It’s August 3rd, so everyone knows what that means…

Happy birthday wishes are due to a few special fellas: Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and New York Jets rookie Zach Wilson.

That’s right, hopefully it’s a good omen for Wilson, but the two potential Week 1 starters both were born on this day.

There is one bit of a stark difference, though.

Brady turns 44 was born in 1977 while Wilson, a fresh-faced 22-year-old as of today, began his journey to the NFL in 1999.

And yes, you’re reading right. Brady is exactly, to the day, double the age of Wilson. ESPN’s Adam Schefter makes a good point as well:

Eventually the two quarterbacks will get to known each other a bit better. In Week 17 of the 2021 regular season, if all goes according to plan, the pair will faceoff.

Brady’s Bucs will visit MetLife Stadium for a late-season matchup against the Jets in New York.

Another non-quarterback birthday shoutout to pass out: Hall of Famer and former Buffalo Bills head coach Marv Levy turns 96 on Tuesday.
