Titans vs. Steelers betting: Prop bets for Thursday Night Football game plus odds, predictions

Week 9 is set to get underway with another edition of Thursday Night Football as the Tennessee Titans (3-4) prepare to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-3).

Tennessee begins its run of three straight away games this week, starting in Pittsburgh.

Their most recent game was a 28-23 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in rookie quarterback Will Levis' debut as a starter, replacing the injured Ryan Tannehill. The former Kentucky star finished the game 19-29 passing with 238 yards and four touchdowns.

Head coach Mike Vrabel said Levis is expected to start again on Thursday.

The Steelers fell to the Jaguars in Week 8, 20-10, in a game quarterback Kenny Pickett exited early with a rib injury. Before his departure, the second-year quarterback completed 10 of 16 pass attempts for 73 yards. Veteran Mitch Trubisky replaced Pickett, finishing the game 15-27 on pass attempts with 138 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

Pickett said Tuesday he's "playing for sure" Thursday night.

VSIN: Take the Steelers spread as home favorites

VSIN Senior Editor Zachary Cohen writes: "I am not moved by anything I saw from Levis in last week’s game. I just don’t think the Falcons did a good job preparing for that one. Pittsburgh isn’t likely to make the same mistake. This is a team that can be trusted to tee off on rookie quarterbacks, and the Steelers also happen to be playing at home here. That should make a difference.
