Titans Thoughts Around the Web

The Patriots and Falcons flooded the news this past week due to the Superbowl coverage. In a similar light, I got asked by a few of you what my thoughts are on the Patriots players refusing to meet with Donald Trump. My response is simple. Each year, the winning team poses for a picture with the President and that is shared all over the web. Has anyone ever had a roster printout in front of them and checked off player names to make sure they were all present? I don’t know that I’d notice.

The Titans are widely regarded to take Corey Davis, Mike Williams, Jamal Adams, or Marshon Lattimore. I’ve done a lot of draft reading this week and am hopeful this is over with. I’m anxious to move on and read about whom the Titans will draft with their other picks. The draft experts usually move forward to cover all seven rounds in detail, so…I’m looking forward to this.

WalterFootball has the Browns taking Tennessee’s quarterback Joshua Dobbs with the Tennessee Titans pick they received in last year’s trade. I understand the local interest in Dobbs, but with Marcus Mariota as the franchise back, the Titans have no pressing need for Dobbs. If he wanted to be an NFL backup to Mariota, I suppose the Titans could draft him. Isn’t it best for Dobbs that he gets a chance to start though? I think some of you upset by this need to shift to wishing him well.

I’ve mentioned Periscopes here before, also check out Jim Wyatt’s weekly show on 3HL

Terry McCormick wrote about the Titans raising their ticket prices. I think this is just simple supply and demand. They are an up and coming team now, so the fan interest is rising.

Last but oh so not least is probably the cutest Titans picture you’ve ever seen.
