Perhaps the biggest fight of the young decade comes Saturday night with the undisputed welterweight championship of the world at stake.

What's at stake
Being billed as the biggest boxing since Floyd Mayweather battled Manny Pacquiao in 2015, this pits two fighters in their primes with a chance to unify all four belts, the first time that's happened in the welterweight class in the four-belt era.
Spence has spent his entire career as a welterweight (147 pounds), while Crawford has battled his way up, winning a slew of titles on the way. He held all four belts in the junior welterweight division.
How did Errol Spence Jr. vs Terence Crawford come together?
This has been a dream matchup for years but at times didn't seem likely.
Spence, who has spent most of his life in Dallas, also survived a drunk-driving car wreck there in 2019 that sidelined him in 2020. Then he had retina surgery the next year that at times made it look like this fight might never come off. Crawford, meanwhile, flirted with other promotions that would have made this match impossible.
It comes together Saturday night.
