This TikToker Discovered How To Hack The Starbucks App & Get Twice As Many Free Coffees
It looks like TikTok is spreading the holiday cheer early thanks to a new Starbucks hack that can get you a completely customized latte for just 50 stars. Lattes usually cost 150 stars, so this is a big deal.
The hack, shared by TikTok user @ryeanne.oc earlier this month, starts off by selecting a Caffè Misto in the Starbucks app. If you've ever ordered a Caffè Misto, you know that it's a pretty standard drink that's comprised of just fresh-brewed coffee and steamed milk. Well, here's where the hack gets interesting:
"I'm gonna customize mine into like a Caramel Brûlée Latte, so I'm gonna go down to sauces and I'm adding in three pumps of Caramel Brûlée sauce. And then I'm also gonna add whipped cream to make it like officially a holiday drink...I'm adding my caramel drizzle and then I'm gonna go down and I'm gonna hit done customizing. And then you can see here, instead of using 150 stars it only used 50," @ryeanne.oc explained in their TikTok.
The Starbucks customized latte hack is somewhat reminiscent of a Chipotle hack that let customers create a $3 burrito through the Chipotle app. All customers had to do was order a single taco and a tortilla, and then add loads of free sides to their taco order.
But if the fate of the Chipotle hack is any indicator, you might want to get your hands on a 50-star latte at Starbucks ASAP.
