HORTONVILLE - The Lightning had five players score in double figures in the Fox Valley Association win over the Polar Bears.

Will Sweeney led Appleton North with 17 points. Nate Ramus had 15 points while Ben Zdzieblowski and Abraham Tomari scored 14 and 11, respectively.

Riley Mueller led Hortonville with 18 points. Ethan Joling and Drake Johnson added 15 and 12 points, respectively.

SHIOCTON – Noah Lukasek scored 18 points to lead the Lancers past the Chiefs.

After going into the break tied at 28-28, Manitowoc Lutheran came out on fire in the second half as it pulled out the nonconference win.

Also scoring in double figures for the Lancers were Caden Stanzel with 12 points, Isaiah Muchka with 10 and Brayden Zirbel with 10.

Cody Young had the hot hand for Shiocton, finishing with 14 points, while Bennett Schmidt chipped in 13.

Four Hortonville players reached double figures with Rainey Welson leading the way with 20 points, including six threes. Mikayla Werner added 17 points, while Kardyn Peppler had 11 and Paige Lillie 10.

Delaney Peterson paced the Lightning with 17 points, while Tay Maass had 12.
