Texas players, fans react to the addition of former Alabama WR Agiye Hall
The Longhorns added another explosive player to Steve Sarkisian’s offense on Tuesday evening.
Days after visiting Austin over Easter weekend, former Alabama wide receiver Agiye Hall announced his commitment to the University of Texas. As a member of the 2021 recruiting class, he was rated the No. 5 wide receiver in the country and the No. 45 player nationally, according to 247Sports.
It was no secret that wide receiver was a position of need for Texas this offseason. After the injury to Jordan Whittington, the Longhorns lacked a consistent No. 2 threat behind superstar Xavier Worthy.
Thanks to a couple offseason additions, Texas’ wide receiver room has suddenly become one of the strongest in the country. Any combination of Worthy, Whittington, Hall and Isaiah Neyor has to have fans excited for the upcoming season.
