Texans sign former Browns DE Chase Winovich to one-year deal

The legal tampering period of free agency is underway, and the Cleveland Browns have lost a free agent as the Houston Texans have signed defensive end Chase Winovich to a one-year deal. The Texans have signed a hilarious amount of former Browns players over the past few years, and Winovich becomes the latest.

Winovich, who joined the Browns in a swap for linebacker Mack Wilson last offseason, missed significant time in 2022 for the Browns. He did, however, rack up one sack for the Browns in limited playing time. The Browns have yet to make a move themselves but are seeing some action around some of their former players.
