Tennessee women's basketball live score updates vs. Liberty: Lady Vols play Flames on the road
Lady Vols basketball has one last nonconference matchup before SEC play begins.
Tennessee (6-5) plays Liberty (5-9) on the road on Sunday (2 p.m. ET, ESPN+) at Liberty Arena. The Lady Vols are coming off a break for the holidays after blowing out Wofford on Dec. 19, and get a challenge on the road to prepare for conference play.
"This is a really, really big game," coach Kellie Harper said Friday. "It's a tough game. It's a very good basketball team, it's going to give you a very similar look that Middle Tennessee gave you in terms of how they play and how good they are and the competitiveness they're going to play with."
After the matchup with Liberty, Tennessee begins SEC play on the road at Auburn on Thursday.
