Tennessee Titans sign former Tennessee Vols DB Kenneth George after rookie minicamp tryout

The Tennessee Titans signed former Tennessee Vols defensive back Kenneth George, the team announced Monday.

An undrafted rookie, George participated at Titans rookie minicamp last week on a tryout basis. The 5-foot-11, 194-pound defensive back appeared in 33 games and made 10 starts across four seasons for the Vols, recording 52 tackles, 10 passes defended, two fumble recoveries and an interception. He began his college career at Trinity Valley Community College, where he played for two seasons.

At Tennessee, George was college teammates with Titans' sixth-round pick Theo Jackson.

The Titans on Monday also signed defensive lineman DeMarcus Walker to their roster and placed safety Jamal Carter on injured reserve.
