Tennessee Titans re-sign DT Marlon Davidson, who started 3 games in 2023

The Tennessee Titans are bringing back one of their contributors on the defensive line from the 2023 season for 2024.

The Titans announced Monday that they've agreed to terms on a contract with free agent defensive tackle Marlon Davidson. Davidson played in five games with the Titans last season, starting three of them. He made 10 tackles with a sack and two tackles for loss after signing with the team in October.

A former second-round pick of the Atlanta Falcons, Davidson played in 19 games across the 2020 and 2021 seasons before landing with the Titans. Davidson played his college football at Auburn.

Davidson joins a Titans defensive line group that also includes All Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons, rookie and second-round draft pick T'Vondre Sweat and free agent signee Sebastian Joseph-Day, formerly of the Los Angeles Chargers. Keondre Coburn and Quinton Bohanna, two other defensive linemen who the Titans signed in the middle of the 2023 season, also remain on roster. The Titans drafted defensive end Jaylen Harrell out of Michigan in the seventh round in April to play alongside fellow edge rushers Harold Landry III, Arden Key and Rashad Weaver.

Titans organized training activities for the offseason begin on May 20.
