Tennessee Titans NFL Draft rooting guide for Week 18

The Tennessee Titans will know their first round pick in April's NFL Draft following Week 18.

Tennessee can end the Jaguars season with a win over Jacksonville on Sunday, and there will be a few AFC teams that hope the Titans pull off the upset.

But a Titans loss would benefit Tennessee's draft position. There are several combinations that are possible depending on Sunday's results, but the Titans can draft as high as No. 4 overall or as low as No. 8 overall on April 25.

No matter if the Titans win or lose, their draft position isn't entirely up to their results. Here's who Titans fans should root for on Sunday to move up in the 2024 NFL Draft order.

Titans rooting guide for 2024 NFL Draft position

New York Giants to win against Philadelphia

Los Angeles Chargers to win against Kansas City

Arizona Cardinals to win against Seattle

New York Jets to win against New England

  • If the Titans win, it will need the Jets to win as well to stay at No. 7 overall. Tennessee will lose the tiebreaker with strength of schedule.

  • There is a convoluted strength-of-schedule tiebreaker related way the Titans can pass the Chargers if both teams win and finish 6-11, but about eight different games need to go Tennessee's way to flip the tiebreaker.

  • If the Titans lose, the lowest they can pick is No. 7 overall. The same tiebreaker rule applies if the Titans and Chargers lose and end up with the same record. A lot needs to happen for the Titans and Chargers tiebreaker to flip.

  • With a Titans loss, Tennessee moves up a spot with each win by the Giants, Chargers and Cardinals.
