Super 25 Tennessee high school football rankings: Deuce Knight leaves Lipscomb Academy before showdown
A showdown between the No. 2 and No. 3 teams in the Tennessee Super 25 high school football rankings highlights this week's poll. Second-ranked Baylor hosts third-ranked Lipscomb Academy in the top game in Tennessee for TSSAA Week 4.
However, this showdown lost some of its hype on Tuesday with the departure of Deuce Knight, a four-star quarterback at Lipscomb Academy who left the program and is returning home to Mississippi.
A group of high school sports writers from the USA TODAY Sports Network vote each week on the top 25 football programs in Tennessee.
First-place votes are in parentheses. Each first-place vote receives 25 points; each second-place vote receives 24 points, on down to No. 25, which is worth one point.
