Taylor Gabriel did his best Allen Iverson imitation as he practically broke Malcolm Butler's ankles

The Atlanta Falcons were embarrassing the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI when Falcons receiver Taylor Gabriel turned Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler into a meme.

Butler, who was the hero the last time he was in a Super Bowl, looked like a basketball player getting his ankles broken on a crossover. Playing the role of an in-his-prime Allen Iverson was Gabriel, whose deke outside before heading on a post route was filthy and left Butler flailing.

Shortly after that play, which went for 35 yards, Butler took a big pass-interference penalty and the Falcons scored again to take a 28-3 lead.

Gabriel has been a great find for the Falcons after he was dumped by the Cleveland Browns before this season started. Gabriel has been a fine playmaker and his speed and quickness makes him very hard to defend in space. Butler found that out.

The sight of Butler, a very good cornerback, getting tripped up on his own feet and falling to the ground as Gabriel flew by him was a perfect illustration of how the Falcons were humiliating the Patriots in Super Bowl LI.
