Swim Round-up: Lebanon and Zionsville host meets

Nov. 28—The Lebanon and Zionsville swimming and diving teams hosted their first meets of the year on Tuesday night.

The Lebanon teams hosted West Lafayette, while Zionsville hosted Brownsburg.

Lebanon

The Tigers split their dual with the Red Devils on Tuesday.

The Lebanon boys won 92-87 and the girls lost 121-58.

For the boys, they got a win from Grayson Goff in the IM in 2:10.25 and breaststroke in 1:10.88, Camden Perrine in the 50-free in 24.05, the 200-free relay team of Jack Howard, Perrine, Tate DeLaRosa and Goff in 1:38.07, Taylor O'Brien in the backstroke in 1:03.88, and the 400-free relay team in 3:44.55.

They got runner-up finishes from the medley relay team of O'Brien, Parker Lawson, Jonah Primus and Agustin Prescott in 1:58.59, DeLaRosa in the 200-free in 2:06.02 and 500-free in 5:53.64, Howard in the 50-free in 24.21, Vickrey Ryden in diving in a score of 122.30, O'Brien in the butterfly in 1:08.04, Perrine in the 100-free in 53.69 and Lawson in the breaststroke in 1:14.03.

For the girls, Lebanon got a win from Anna Hale in the IM in a time of 2:28.77 and breaststroke in 1:28.19.

The Tigers got a runner-up finish from the medley relay team of Jessie Stevens, Anna Hale, Bea Johnson and Paige Howard, Paige Howard in the 50 in 28.45 and 100-free in 1:03.37, Stevens in the backstroke in 1:12.48, Kylee Rodriguez in the breaststroke in 1:28.19 and 400-free relay team of Howard, Johnson, Hale and Stevens in 4:23.94.

Zionsville

The Eagles cruised in both ends of their dual with Brownsburg, winning the boys meet 112-68 and the girls 136-49.

On the girls side, Zionsville got wins the medley relay team of Molly Simmons, Maddy Akin, Annabelle Swiney and Ava Metzger in 1:49.47; Kira Hunter in the 200-free in 2:03.00 and 500-free in 5:30.47, Akin in the IM in 2:16.79 and backstroke in 1:01.77, Swiney in the 50 in 23.89, Simmons in the butterfly in 1:00.99, Metzger in the 100-free in 53.88, the 200-free relay team of Swiney, Akin, Allie Buroker and Simmons in 1:42.09, Maggie Hadley in the breaststroke in 1:09.69, and the 400-free relay team of Swiney, Metzger, Paulick and Simmons in 3:40.70.

The Eagles had runner-up finishes from the medley relay team of Ava Peterson, Maddie Hadley, Claire McAfee and Hailey Paulick; Annabel Hermacinski in the 200-free in 2:04.29, Grace Whitfield in diving with a score of 186.30, Hadley in the butterfly in 1:01.43, Paulick in the 100-free in 55.64, the 200-free relay team of Avery Christian, Hadley, Hermacinski and Paulick in 1:44.80, Ava Peterson in the backstroke in 1:02.46, Katie Gordon in the breaststroke in 1:3.83, and the 400-free relay team of Christian, Hermacinski, Mia Phillip and Buroker in 3:54.56.

On the boys side, the Eagles got wins from the medley relay team of Colin Walrond, Lew Sams, Brady Hinshaw and Eli Dollens in 1:39.53, Walker Mattice in the 200-free in 1:45.12 and 500 in 5:03.22, Nikita Hovyadinov in the IM in 2:20.77 and breaststroke in 1:01.07, Walrond in the 50 in 22.26, Hinshaw in the butterfly in 55.13 and backstroke in 55.46, the 200-yard freestyle relay team of Mattice, Walrond, Toby Dollens and Hovyadinov in a time of 1:29.79 and the 400-yard freestyle relay team of Mattice, Toby Dollens, Eli Dollens and Hinshaw in 3:19.76.

The Eagles got runner-up finishes from Toby Dollens in the 50 in 22.52 and breaststroke in 1:02.07, Steven Phan in the butterfly in 56.70 and backstroke in 58.13, Eli Dollens in the 100 in 51.40, Brady Wright in the 500 in 5:14.97.
