Stunning shot shows how much bigger Jets’ Mekhi Becton is than Jamison Crowder
Jamison Crowder is 5-foot-9, 174 pounds. The New York Jets’ wide receiver was next to first-round pick Mekhi Becton on the sidelines Tuesday.
Talk about a size difference. Becton is 6-feet-7 and 370 pounds and the image next to Crowder, a wide receiver, is nothing short of astounding.

It looks like Becton, who played college ball at Louisville, is standing next to someone on a Pop Warner team, not an NFL wideout.
“I was definitely insecure growing up,” Becton told ESPN last week. “I was always getting talked about because I’m the bigger kid, bigger than normal. It is what it is. I’m glad I embrace it now.”

At 370, Becton is 48 pounds heavier than the next-biggest player on the Jets, tackle George Fant. More team perspective: The Jets’ two slot receivers, Jamison Crowder (177 pounds) and Braxton Berrios (190), equal the weight of one Becton.
Using listed weights for a leaguewide comparison, Becton is the third-heaviest player on a current NFL roster, according to ESPN Stats & Information research. He’s lighter than the Las Vegas Raiders’ Trent Brown (380) and close to the Seattle Seahawks’ Bryan Mone (366).
