Steve Kerr says Andrew Wiggins is ‘working out every day,’ absence still ‘indefinite’
Warriors star Andrew Wiggins has now missed 20 consecutive games as he deals with an undisclosed personal matter relating to his family. Coach Steve Kerr says the team still hopes he is able to return this season, and divulged that Wiggins has been working to stay in condition during his absence.
Kerr noted that there’s hope Wiggins can return this season as the playoffs near, but Wiggins’ status remains uncertain for the near future.
“He’s been working out every day. Beyond that… once he’s back then our training staff will be able to get with him and see where he is. But he’s been training on his own.”
