Steph Curry gifts signed jersey to Lakers’ Lonnie Walker IV with hilarious message

Following the Golden State Warriors’ season-ending loss in Game 6 of the second-round playoff series, Steph Curry gifted a member of the Los Angeles Lakers a signed No. 30 jersey.

On Saturday, Game 4 star Lonnie Walker IV took to Instagram to share a group of photos from the series against the Warriors. One of the photos was a signed No. 30 jersey from Curry. On the jersey, Curry had a hilarious message for the Lakers wing.

Along with “keep building” and “all love,” Curry wrote “will never forgive you for Game 4…!”

Curry’s reference was to Walker IV’s clutch Game 4 performance in a decisive Lakers’ comeback win over the Warriors. With the Warriors clinging to a fourth-quarter lead, Walker IV broke out, scoring 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field in the final frame to fuel a Lakers’ win.

With a 4-2 series win over the Warriors, the Lakers will advance to meet Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals.
