Stefon Diggs, Leonard Floyd among players banged up at Bills camp

It was the final day of open training camp for the Buffalo Bills at St. John Fisher College on Thursday. The team nearly made it out unharmed but there were multiple injury scares on the final workout.

Receiver Stefon Diggs and pass rusher Leonard Floyd were among the list but they both had positive final updates.

Both players ended up limping off the field indicating lower-body injuries. Follow ups went well.

Diggs was injured late in the practice but was spotted smile and upbeat afterword. The Buffalo News reported that Diggs said “I’m great” after the session.

Floyd’s update wasn’t verbal, rather, a physical one. After leaving the field with training staff, WIVB-TV noted that after a short period Floyd had returned to practice.

Unfortunately the Bills were not completely unharmed. Linebacker Terrel Bernard left practice and did not return, according to WGR-550 radio. There has not yet been follow-up report on Bernard’s status, post-practice.
