Steelers Week 15 AFC playoff rooting guide

There are three weeks left in the NFL season but there is much work to be done for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh has a chance this week with a win over the Cincinnati Bengals to lock up another AFC North crown.

But with such a crowd at the top of the AFC, seeding is still a puzzle that needs to be sorted out. The Steelers currently sit as the No. 2 seed at 11-2 with the 11-3 Buffalo Bills right behind them. A loss this week would drop Pittsburgh behind the Bills based on their head-to-head game.

Here’s our Steelers rooting guide for the weekend.

The Dolphins currently sit at 8-5 and are playing great football right now. We will be rooting for a Patriots win to keep the bottom of the AFC playoffs look like a mess.

Detroit Lions at Tennessee Titans

Pittsburgh has a win over the Titans this season but the Titans are playing very good football and could easily challenge the Steelers. Steelers' fans want to see the Lions pull off the big road upset this week.

The Steelers are just a week away from taking on the 9-4 Colts. We are rooting for the struggling Texans to get the upset here to rattle the Colts before they come to Pittsburgh.

Kansas City Chiefs at New Orleans Saints

This is the big one for the Steelers. Kansas City has overtaken the No. 1 seed and that one bye week. New Orleans is getting quarterback Drew Brees back in the biggest game of their season and the Steelers could really use their help.

Last up we have the Browns at the Giants. The Steelers can secure the AFC North with a loss this week if the Browns lose to the Giants. Everyone should always root against the Browns anyway but this week especially.
