Are we starting to see the real Colts team?

The Colts offense was on full cylinders last Sunday, earning their 11th straight win against the Titans. The Colts team that took the field has been the healthiest we have probably seen them on both sides of the ball. The Colts injury report didn’t look as dire as it has been the last couple of weeks with Patrick Robinson being the most important name on there.

The Colts coming off at win against Green bay and a high sense of confidence the Colts came in with their heads up high and ready to win. Andrew Luck went 15/28 for 262 yards, 2 touchdowns and a pick. Luck spread the ball around with a healthy receiving corps. Along with incorporating Frank Gore in the passing game. This is the beauty of what a healthy offense can do when everything is going right for them.

Mailbag: What’s next for Romo?

Marcus Mariota still played around with the defense going for 290 yards and two touchdowns. Nonetheless the defense showed up when they needed to. Good coverage for most of the game and hurried Mariota 6 times. The defensive line was at full strength and finished strong for the second game in a row against 2 good offenses. The Colts also held DeMarco Murray, the league’s second leading rusher, to 70 yards on 21 carries and only gave up a total of 97 yards rushing.

The Colts square off next against the Steelers on Sunday Night Football. The Steelers have been picked to win the Super Bowl by some analyst, but they are coming into town with a 5-5 record and the 25th ranked passing defense.

The Colts now sit at an even 5-5 record and looking to go above that .500 mark for the first time this season. If Andrew Luck and Co. can play like they did against the Steelers, come Sunday night, Rothlisberger and Luck can have a shootout on prime time.
