BOYS TOP 10

1. Pacifica (17-5-2, 10-2-2 Channel)

Comment: The Channel League champion is the No. 2 seed in CIF-SS Division 2.

2. Oak Park (12-2-1, 6-1-1 Coastal Canyon)

Comment: The Coastal Canyon League co-champion is the No. 4 seed in Division 1.

3. Santa Paula (13-6-2, 10-2 Citrus Coast)

Comment: The Citrus Coast League champion hosts Marlborough on Wednesday in the Division 3 first round.

4. Channel Islands (15-2-3, 9-2-1 Citrus Coast)

Comment: A forfeit cost the Raiders the Citrus Coast League title.

Comment: A sturdy back four gives the Marmonte League champion a foundation for the postseason.

8. Moorpark (12-7-3, 6-1-1 Coastal Canyon)

Comment: The surprise Coastal Canyon League co-champion has been led by senior defender Armando Acevedo.

9. Agoura (9-5-4, 5-2-3 Marmonte)

Comment: Striker Kevin Zendejas, who has 14 goals and six assists as a senior, is a formidable force up front for the Chargers.

10. Newbury Park (10-9-2, 5-3-2 Marmonte)

Comment: Striker Dragen Vrataric has 14 goals and five assists in 10 games since rejoining the Panthers midseason.

GIRLS TOP 10

1. Oaks Christian (13-3-3, 8-1-1 Marmonte)

Comment: Even as the last team in, the talented Lions will be a tough out in the Open Division.

2. Westlake (11-2-4, 5-2-3 Marmonte)

Comment: Coach Frank Marino, who also coaches the Cal Lutheran University women’s team, already has one title this school year.

3. Buena (15-3-1, 13-0-1 Channel)

Comment: High-scoring Bulldogs have netted 36 times in current nine-match winning streak.

Comment: The Scorpions have conceded more than one goal just once in 14 matches.

7. Oxnard (9-4-2, 6-3-2 Channel)

Comment: Sienna Pimental, who has scored 16 times as a junior, gives the Yellowjackets some sting up front.

8. Santa Paula (14-4-2, 11-1 Citrus Coast)

Comment: Yaraby Herrera makes a difference. The senior scored the lone goal in a pair of 1-0 wins to help the Cardinals win the league title.

9. Oak Park (9-6-2, 4-4 Coastal Canyon)

Comment: With Ava Dermott up front and Macie Baird at the back, the Eagles have senior leadership on both ends of the field.

Comment: Marlene Gonzalez has 10 goals and eight assists as a senior.

Comment: Senior Priya Torres has 22 goals and 16 assists in just 14 matches.

Comment: The Regents have scored six or more goals in three of their last four matches.
