NO. 1 SACRED HEART-GRIFFIN 9, NO. 5 PANA 0: At the Sacred Heart-Griffin Regional, the host Cyclones jumped to an 8-0 halftime lead for their seventh straight regional title.

SHG will meet No. 2 Greenville in the Riverton Sectional semifinals on Friday at 4 p.m.

Callie Huston delivered the opening goal in the first four minutes before Isabella Perryman reeled off two goals. Emma Johnson also netted two goals in the first half. Lilly White, Caroline Sheehan, Anne Mizeur and Maddie Springer also scored for the Cyclones.

Top-seeded Alton Marquette will appear in the other semifinal at 6 p.m. against No. 2 Quincy Notre Dame. The Explorers dispatched No. 4 Litchfield, 7-0.

NO. 2 QUINCY NOTRE DAME 7, NO. 3 AUBURN O: At the QND Regional, Makayla Patton scored in the first four minutes and totaled four goals in the win.

The Raiders led 3-0 at halftime before Patton netted the hat trick on an Ellison Barnes cross to begin the second half.

NO. 2 GREENVILLE 4, NO. 3 STAUNTON 3 (PKs): At the Greenville Regional, the host Comets prevailed 4-3 in a penalty shootout.

Greenville’s Emma Veith scored on an assist from Shayna Henderson before Staunton’s Jillian Meyer scored on an assist from Bre Feeley.

Natalie McCullough closed out the win for Greenville with the final PK. Erin Peppler, Megan Ridens and Katie Campbell also capitalized on their PKs for their first regional title since 2015.

NO. 1 ATHENS 4, NO. 4 MACOMB 1: At the Chillicothe Illinois Valley Central Regional, Karsyn Jacoby and Ava Bee each scored two goals and the Warriors claimed their second straight regional title.

Athens will meet No. 2 Bloomington Central Catholic in the Williamsville Sectional semifinals on Friday at 7 p.m.

Jacoby handed Athens a 1-0 halftime lead before Bee found the net after intermission for a 2-0 advantage. Lorna Brown scored for the Bombers.

NO. 1 WILLIAMSVILLE 7, NO. 4 DECATUR UNITY CHRISTIAN 0: At the Williamsville Regional, the host Bullets jumped to a 4-0 halftime lead and claimed their third straight regional crown.

Williamsville will return to Paul Jenkins Field against No. 3 Monmouth-Roseville on Friday at 5 p.m. for its sectional semi.

NO. 3 MONMOUTH-ROSEVILLE 1, NO. 2 BEARDSTOWN 0: At the Monmouth-Roseville Regional, Daniela Carmona scored the decisive goal with 11 minutes left in the match.

CLASS 2A

NO. 4 ROCHESTER 5, NO. 5 JACKSONVILLE 0: At the Jacksonville Regional, Jaden Stockton totaled two goals and the Rockets advanced to Saturday’s regional final against top-seeded Pleasant Plains/New Berlin at 11 a.m.

Plains dispatched No. 6 Jerseyville 9-0 in the other semifinal.

Stockton scored the opening goal on a Taylor Offer assist before scoring again on a Jayda Sperry assist.

Charlotte Beatty made it 2-0 at the break on an assist from Drea Smith, who scored on an assist from Alaina Stock in the second half.

Mia Conner recorded the final goal on an assist from Kali Hoerner. Alyse Day had one save for the Rockets.

In other action, No. 3 Springfield High throttled No. 7 Southeast 11-0 to advance to the Chatham Glenwood Regional final against the No. 2 host Titans, the defending 2A state champions.

No. 4 Lincoln will take on top-seeded host Mahomet-Seymour in its regional final after defeating No. 5 Mount Zion, 2-1.
