Spartanburg area football top performers for Week 7, led by Andrew Stevens' 4-TD night

It was another excellent round of South Carolina high school football games in the Upstate. Here are Week 7's top performers from games involving Spartanburg area teams.

QB Lincoln Huskey, Boiling Springs: In a 38-31 double-overtime loss to Byrnes, Huskey threw for 133 yards with one touchdown on 9-of-21 passing. He also ran for 76 yards with another TD.

QB Kamajay Brackett-Brannon, Broome: In Broome's 42-21 win over Blue Ridge, Brackett-Brannon rushed for 103 yards with two touchdowns on 10 carries. He also threw for 164 yards with two TDs on 16-of-20 passing.

WR Greyson Bradley, Broome: Bradley caught seven passes for 80 yards with two TDs.

RB Jaylen McGill, Broome: McGill ran the ball 18 times for 158 yards with one touchdown and a fumble.

WR Ethan Morris, Byrnes: Morris caught seven passes for 128 yards with three touchdowns.

QB Andrew Stevens, Byrnes: On 23-of-30 passing, Stevens threw for 273 yards with four total touchdowns.

ATH Kaylob Blanton, Chesnee: In a 56-15 loss to Abbeville, Blanton gained 136 total yards, made seven catches — including a receiving touchdown — and converted a two-point attempt.

REGION 2 WARRIORS: How Gaffney football topped Spartanburg, took big step toward region showdown with Byrnes

WR Emazon Littlejohn, Gaffney: In Gaffney's 19-14 win over Spartanburg, Littlejohn had six catches for 75 yards with two touchdowns.

RB Jaiden McDowell, Gaffney: McDowell ran for 91 yards on 23 carries, and caught nine passes for 176 yards with a touchdown.

QB Riley Staton, Gaffney: On 21-of-30 passing, Staton threw for 343 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. He also ran for 25 yards on three carries.

RB Colton Link, Landrum: In a 42-14 loss to Ninety Six, Link ran for two touchdowns, one of which was from a 79-yard run.
