South Kortright boys roll to league final berth; Oneonta takes down Norwich

Feb. 7—The South Kortright boys basketball team cruised to a 57-25 victory over Gilboa at home Wednesday in the Delaware League playoffs.

Connor Quarino led the way with a game-high 26 points while Jack Byrne and JB Trimbell each chipped in eight for the Rams.

Jacob Strauch led Gilboa with seven points in the loss.

South Kortright will face Charlotte Valley in next Thursday's league title game.

Oneonta 48, Norwich 42

Oneonta came away with a 48-42 win over Norwich on the road Wednesday in STAC league play.

Brady Carr led the Yellowjackets with a game-high 28 points with Makya Morrison adding nine in the win.

Steven Dowdall led Norwich with 22 points in the loss.

Roxbury 61, Windham-Ashland-Jewett 36

Roxbury took down Windham-Ashland-Jewett for a 61-36 victory Wednesday in the Delaware League playoffs.

George Proctor posted a double-double in the win for the Rockets with 21 points and 14 rebounds.

Elsewhere, Jordan Johnston scored 13 points, Chris Garofolo had 12 points and nine rebounds and Taran Davis pulled down 14 boards.

Christian Greene paced WAJ with 16 points while Eli Cercone added eight.

Cherry Valley-Springfield fell to Section III's Stockbridge Valley 53-46 Tuesday.

Dalton Stocking led the Patriots with 11 points while Max Horvath also finished in double-figures with 10 points. Kris Cade and CJ Hurley added nine points apiece.
