Free agent Rudy Gay has agreed to a one-year, $10 million deal to re-sign with the San Antonio Spurs, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

After declining his $8.8 million player option for next season, Gay negotiated a new deal to remain with the Spurs. Gay played a critical role in his first year with the Spurs, reviving his career after suffering a torn Achilles tendon in January 2017. He averaged 11.5 points and 5.1 rebounds in 21.6 minutes per game last season.

Gay, 31, has played 12 NBA seasons for Memphis, Toronto, Sacramento and San Antonio. He has averaged 17.9 points and 5.9 rebounds for his career.
