Sooners land 3-star 2024 offensive lineman Josh Aisosa

The Oklahoma Sooners continue to add to the 2024 Recruiting Class. This time Bill Bedenbaugh lands an in-state three-star offensive lineman.

Josh Aisosa from Edmond, Oklahoma, is 6-foot-4, 305 pounds. He will most likely play tackle at Oklahoma but has the versatility to slide inside and play guard.

Aisosa wrestles in high school, which is something that usually proves valuable to an offensive lineman. That background is on full display when you watch him play. He loves to get physical and maul defenders.

That kind of nasty offensive line play is something Bedenbaugh loves to see from his offensive line. His best groups had multiple guys that were like that.

Don’t let the stars fool you. Aisosa is a really talented player who can carve out a solid career. He also could move up into four-star status with a solid senior season.

This was a big get for Oklahoma’s offensive line recruiting. They’ve added Isaiah Autry and Eugene Brooks, and Aisosa gives them a player that could factor into future offensive tackle competitions.

The Sooners are still in the running for four-star OL Grant Brix.  Bedenbaugh’s done a nice job of adding some intriguing pieces to the room thus far.

One thing Bedenbaugh is really good at is developing these offensive linemen. So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise if Aisosa becomes a multi-year starter for the Oklahoma Sooners.

Aisosa is the Sooner’s 19th commitment in the 2024 recruiting class. Oklahoma is No. 15 in the 247Sports team recruiting rankings.
